Well here we have one of my elemental mages.

This is Shinkoyu, the ice mage. There is a mage for almost every element, well the elements that I count. It's complicated, and I haven't really fully gotten the facts of the mages down exactly yet ^^;

Anyway, this picture took me a REALLY long time to complete... I honestly think I started this back in the winter... yeah I'm pretty sure it was a bit after the first major snow storm I started to think this image up.

If anyone can not tell, she is casting a spell and it is snowing. Oh and yes, she is suppose to be pupil-less.

The sky was done with the assistance of ~Scully7491's clouds brushes.

I am really proud of how this came out in the end.

Shinkoyu and art are copyrighted to me. There are watermarks on this image, if anyone dares steals this I will not hesitate to take out the super Mallet of DOOM!

Shinkoyu has an interesting outfit! :]

Nice job with the snowy effects! They're subtle, but that makes them seem a little more magical.

One thing that might help add depth to the image is the use of folds in clothing. As of right now, his outfit, especially the lower half of it, looks a bit two-dimensional because it lacks folds.

But it looks good! You made good use of your time.

I rather like how this came out. The outfit design seems to be quite interesting. If this is just the first mage you've done, hope to see others.

I tried to do shading for the folds ^^; oh and... the character is a she not a he.

Whoops. Posted this in response to the wrong comment. ^^;
Baaaah. Sorry about that. D: (And here I thought I tended to assume males were females too often) *looks back at the picture* Yep, that's definitely a female character. ^^;

Well, folds are kind of impossible to get right. D: That and getting eyes completely even. Oh, and hands/feet. Yep.

But seriously, nice job with this! :hug:
