This was drawn a long way back. So long ago I can't even remember when I drew it exactly. I do know it was before I graduated High school, so that is at least over a year ago. ^^;

Anyway, this is a picture of my character Noreko. He is part of one of my cat races, except he is not normal. As the titled states he is cursed. You see that big bandage and the scars? That's part of his curse. One of these days I'll draw him again without the bandage just for reference sake.

Now about the picture itself. I know there are a lot of proportion problem in this one, as stated it is old... if I could have gone back and fixed it I would have. It was already inked when I found it so yeah. I tried a new way of coloring the hair. I think it looks good, so I might use that method from now on.

Oh and his name... might change by the time I redraw him, IDK. As it stands his name comes from the word"noroi" which means "a curse" and the word "Neko" which means cat. (Those translations are from a English to Japanese translator I use. If the words are wrong then it is the site's fault not mine)

Noreko and art is copyrighted to me. Do not steal my art, it is really not worth the trouble...

May I ask what kind of curse he is suffering? He seems interesting character! Name is very suitable.

Great colors in this picture, looks very happy although I guess character isn't happy at all. I love his eye, really cool color in it! (Can't say "them" because I don't know what is under that bandage...) I also like his hands a lot, he has nice claws!

Yay! This is great.

Looking at this closely I can see that you did a good method for joining the claw and finger. The scaring under the eye patch is subtle but effective.

Shading is good too. Looks better then in the past, especially the hair.

To be honest I can't really say much about the curse. ^^; I'm still figuring out all the details myself.

Thank you. I'm happy to hear about the hands. Hands are one the hardest things for me to draw. :)

The hands and claws were a pain to get right, I do remember that much. I was actually wondering how I did on the scars I was hoping I didn't make them too dark.

I think I am going to stick with this shading method from now on. Funny enough, this method is actually a bit less organized than the old one but it works better.
